The Institution:Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology (thereafter  referred to as “GCU”) is a multidisciplinary university approved by the Ministry  of Education in China. It is focusing on undergraduate education in engineering,  science, economics, management, humanities and arts. With the mission of  cultivating application-oriented talents, GCU has set up 15 academic schools and  40 undergraduate programs, with over 22600 students and nearly 1000 academic  faculty members.

Located in Huadu District, Guangzhou, the frontier of South China's economy  and trade, GCU covers an area of 283 acres with one of the most beautiful  campuses in Guangzhou. It is the first university in China accredited by  International Accreditation Council for Business Education(IACBE) and also  ranking the 1st among 2019 independent colleges in China's First-tier Cities by  CUAA.net.

Responsibilities: We are looking for foreign teachers with the teaching ability for English  courses of undergraduate programs. Students are among 18-22 years old with  different majors.

　　1. The candidate will be assigned to teach ESL courses and instruct students  with pronunciation, speaking and listening, grammar, reading and writing,  Western Culture, and Business English.

　　2. Use current, student-centered teaching methods and integrate technology  appropriately to English learning;

　　3. Design and deliver classes as scheduled, mark homework, exam papers and  thesis if there are any;

　　4. Submit teaching plan, teaching syllabus or other documents as required;

      5. Participate in professional development training, mandatory meetings, and  complete administrative tasks required.

Requirements: Native speaker of English from UK，Australia，Canada，New Zealand or US only.  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred; Minimum of two years  English teaching experience plus TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate; Applicants  without teaching experience can be college/university’s fresh graduates degree  in English Education, English Teaching or closely related field, preferred; Less  than 60 years old; Applicants with passionate about language teaching and having  a Chinese cultural awareness preferred.

Salary & Benefits: The monthly salary ranges from RMB 9000 to RMB 12000 before tax and is  commensurate with qualifications and experience. GCU will provide a flight  reimbursement for international travel expenses with a maximum of RMB 12000 from  North America or RMB 10000 from Europe per year. Visa costs will be reimbursed.  Accidental insurance provided. A one-bedroom apartment provided with basic daily  furniture.
