Business Teaching Positions Available In South China

The Institution: Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology (thereafter referred to as “GCU”) is a multidisciplinary university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. There are 22,600 registered students studying in more than 30 programs of engineering, applied sciences, economics, management, arts and literature. 

GCU is seeking qualified full-time or part-time instructors to teach business courses beginning from fall semester in September 2021. 

Responsibilities: This teaching position will mainly serve the undergraduate courses in at least two of the following areas: accounting, financial management, economics, marketing and management; Use current, student-centered teaching methods and integrate technology appropriately to business courses learning; candidates are also expected to develop and revise curriculum, pursue scholarly activities and Participate in professional development training, mandatory meetings, and complete administrative tasks required.

Requirements: English speaker; Doctor’s Degree in a business-related discipline, leadership, economics or related area strongly preferred, MBA or equivalent required; Minimum of 3 years business courses teaching experience; Preference may be given to individuals with with an academic title of lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor or full professor with relevant experience in teaching at university level in cross-cultural environment.

Salary & Benefits:The monthly salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. GCU will provide a flight reimbursement for international travel expenses with a maximum of RMB 12000 from North America or RMB 10000 from Europe per year to full-time instructors and round trip flight up to RMB12000 to part-time instructors. Visa costs will be reimbursed. Accidental insurance provided for full-time instructors. Accommodation provided.
